max Greddy power

Any guesses what kind of power I'll make with the 550's, Link, big FMIC, 96 Torsen, RM DP, and full 2.5in exhaust with no cat?

With 550cc injectors, you'll likely be able to push the TDO4H-15G to its limits: around 275rwhp.

Hopefully, I'll be able to answer that in the spring. :)

Me too! :yippee:

Braineack 12-13-2006 09:26 AM

I see your 275 and raise you 300. :gay:

I say 275whp. Not sure if the turbine is going to push 300whp.

Not when its pushing through a small exhaust.

is full 2.5in small?

bripab007 12-13-2006 01:14 PM

Well, you'll always see power gains going with a bigger exhaust to increase the pressure differential across the turbine. I would imagine the gains would be pretty substantial at the 275-300rwhp when moving from a 2.5 to 3.0" size, but not necessarily if the turbo is already about maxxed out.

Tough call...but if you're really shooting to max it out, you'll probably want to go bigger than 2.5".

And does anyone have a good Link default map for the rx7 550 injectors??

Probably start with the 2.5 in place and then see where that leaves me.

my turbo vr6 made 292whp with 2.5", then when i put 3", it jumped to 344. thats a fuckton more motor though.

What other changes were made? 50whp is HUGE.

Reading that type of statement makes me jones for the begi dp....

Oh, pulled the cat too. We're also talking about a 2.8l motor with a t3/to4e.
