Default Fuel pump and injector help

Heys guys, I'm going back down to the shop right now and wanted to know a couple things before I fudge **** up.

I have a 1.6 with the greddy turbo, 1.8 injectors, and emanage blue, with the vortech fpr. If I put in just a high flow pump, can I take out the fpr now? Or should I wait until I get these supra 300cc injectors to do that. I thought I read about being able to delete the vortech if i did one or the other, maybe both.

Other thing is I have 2 walbro pumps. I know for a fact that one is the 190hp for 94-97 miatas part # F20000141. The other is a 255 for 94-97, but I dont think its the hp one. I searched the part #GSS342 and only came up with 255, no hp.

So basically, will I be ok with the 190hp, remove the fpr, and then later on install the 300cc injectors? I just need some advice....i get nervous with this **** sometimes....

I forgot to mention I also have the RX-7 MAF I will be putting in as well. I guess I'm going to go with my gut, I think I remember hearing more about the 190hp. I guess anything is better than the 17 year old OEM one.

dont remove the fpr, you'll still need somewhere close to 90psi of fuel....whatcha need to do is the math in my faq to figure out how much. (keep the 190hp)

You can go to http://www.rceng.com and use their injector worksheet to get an idea of what size injectors and what amount of fuel pressure you need at a given Horsepower level.

depends on your power and power goals. 300 cc/min injectors + emb + a good, working fuel pump should get you to around 200 rwhp. After that you'll need an FMU.

I have pretty much the same set up!

After installed the 326cc injectors while taking out the Vortech AFPR and kept the 190hp walbro.

logged my EMB today.

on 0.4 bar = 6psi @ Max 67% injector cycle

So depends on your goals just as BEN said.

That math just made me crazy!!!!! As of my last Dyno run I was making 180hp. That was at 9psi and I was showing a reading of 63psi for fuel. I was hoping with the new pump, and some bigger injectors that I could go to 12psi and get over 210hp. Eventually I want to pump it to 15psi, but I like learning how to drive the car in stages you know.

The plan is 300cc injectors and a dual feed rail. I was hoping that at some point I might be able to delete that fpr. By the way, is FMU a fuel management unit? I’m confused…my emanage blue isn’t good enough to control the fuel?

Slidin….if you want my 255 let me know, I have it, I was going to put it on Ebay, but I’ll hook you up.
