Default White smoke 99 Shanghai

So it seems that I have had nothing but trouble since going turbocharged. Now after finally getting it running I go for a drive and there is a Lot of smoke upon acceleration. I haven't even gotten into boost yet. My coolant is also leaking somewhere so thats gotta be the cause i'm thinking. It doesn't leak at idle though. I checked both the coolant lines while i revved it up and didn't see any leaking. It seems like it is coming from the downpipe and below? There was clouds of smoke after acceleration. :( Also on another note it is hesitating greatly when i try to give it gas and go into boost. It is not spiking lean so I'm not sure what it could be. I want to figure out this coolant leak before I do anything else though so i'll take a log after I figure that out. Hopefully someone can help me!

Do a leakdown test.
Compression test if you cant find a leakdown tester.

Alright I'll stop by autozone tomorrow and check it. If it makes any difference my car ran perfectly fine with no smoke right before i installed the turbo kit..

Did you replace your radiator to fight overheating problems?
Read this from another member and tried it and my coolant doesn't shoot up in the slightest. So I would take that to believe that my head gasket is good. Also I think my hesitation was from my overboost settings set at 100kpa Still have to figure out where it is leaking though :(

definately coolant. did you have to remove any of the hoses during installation? possibly wasn't reinstalled correctly. I had a case where my block to heater hose would only leak at about 4k rpm or higher. have you located the leak yet?

Check the CHRA - where you have your water fittings. It should be dry. The connectors should be tight. Then check the other end of those hoses near the thermostat housing. Check the hoses themselves, make sure they don't rub on something or didn't get nicked. Lots of moving parts in the engine bay. While you're at it, do the same thing for the oil lines. I had one before where the clamp eventually dug into the hose and I had a leak.

Did you get anything into the downpipe (lubricant, spilled oil, etc.)

Try to keep things inside the bay as clean as possible, if not be familiar with it. It will aid in spotting leaks at what not.

How are the heater hoses? Do you have oil near the CAS / ignitor area?

Sorry I should have updated this earlier. It turned out to be one of the heater hoses leaking right on the downpipe. Thanks for all the help and advice!
