As soon as I get that remote oil setup, the engine is going back in. Hoping for Saturday. Good time to change Oil Pump while you're in there for another piece of mind! If you don't have a real Oil pressure gauge, putting the sender on now is easy too. |
For the oil relocation kit, I would undo the fittings in the oil filter mount, clean up the threads, reseal them, and put them back in.
As for driving newness... the next day after installing my turbo kit, all my suspension stuff I drove 7 hours to Minnesota lol. Only issue... I didn't tighten a brake calliper bolt and it fell off. Whoops! Luckily my buddy was driving his miata with me and we stopped at an autozone and grabbed a bolt that fit and drove on! |

Per FM:
I'd suggest using a thread sealer that's specifically intended for hydraulic fluid. We use this stuff (http://www.permatex.com/products/Aut...ad_Sealant.htm) and it seems to work very well. |

I believe so, it's the same size as the oil line that the FM kit comes with... which I think is 4-AN. |

My new pump assembly from boundary was far less then that and improved the flow of oil at high rpms. I love it. |
