O2 sensor on Tony dp
I am talking with tony over email and are about to order one pluss the cat he makes.
However, i have seen a pic of the dp and there is a o2 sensor bung almost next to the turbo. is this a safe location for the narowband? This place gets pretty hot.. I also have a wb that i will have to weld in down by the cat, but for now i use the narrowband for the stock ecu and the wb to monitor. |
That's a fine place for the narrowband. If you are running a heatsheild like the FM one, you will have to modify it.

I have the FM heatshield... Will i have to cut it apart or what? My precious heatshield.... :)
It has to be the tony, much cheaper than begi and faster.... And since there are no dyno showing which is the best.... |
Once you get the heatshield and downpipe together you'll see what is needed. I think I cut about a 1.5" square out of the back.
The Tony DP I had was very nice, the quality was outstanding. However, be prepared to mess around with fit a little bit. I ended up cutting about 2" off the length of the top pipe so it would fit better. YMMV. Jay |
I have the same Greddy kit/TTdp/FMHS setup. Everything works fine. The Turbo Tony dp is great, you will love the faster spooling.
