Oil Drain Adapter Install

Waiting for JGS oil drain kit to arrive. Has anyone done the install while the turbo was on the car? Has anyone every broken a bolt removing the Greddy oil drain? Greddy turbo has been on car for about 4 years.

i bet its a bitch with the greddy due to the location of the turbine bolt so close to it, but it should be easy enough to access.

fwiw, i have to remove my turbo to replace my gasket there. my turbo sits so low i cant even get my hand up there.

When you get your kit in from JGS, could you let me know if it comes with the gasket for the flange? I'm thinking of getting this and want to make sure I have everything ready. I'm still unsure of drilling the oil pan. Everyone says it's a pain with PS and AC. Thanks in advance

You can use 3rd gen RX-7 oil return gaskets if you can't find another source. I can't remember how much they are though. I had one lying around so I just used it.

Called JGS on the telephone and the kit does NOT come with a gasket.

Well I ordered the return kit from JGS today. As long as it doesn't come with the gasket what is the best option? Is using the Ultra Copper from permatex a good option that will last?
