Oil lines - problem solved!

Hi

I'd been struggling to replace the sheared off oil feed adapter on my Greddy, it just seemed nigh on impossible to find the part in the UK.

Thanks to Demon Tweeks (www.demontweeks.co.uk) I've finally solved it - I thought I'd post the bits I bought on here as reference for others in the UK struggling to find oil feed bits.

I junked the entire Greddy oil feed and bought the following, following the "flow" of oil from the engine to the turbo:

M10x1.5 -> 3/8unf adapter - (Engine block end)
3/8unf -> -3AN elbow (adapter to oil line)
1m -3AN hose
-3AN -> 3/8unf elbow
3/8unf -> M10x1.25 adapter (turbo end)

I had to get the elbows and a new line since the stock line has a convex flare; all of the adapters Goodridge stock have a convex flare on the adapter rather than the concave flare required for the Greddy line.

Should get it all fitted this week, considering the kit has been gathering dust since November I cant wait!

Hope somebody finds this of use someday, PM me and I'll give you the part numbers.

Cheers
Andy

ps - No thanks to Greddy! £1000 spent on a kit and they "dont have the £1 adapters in stock" :mad:

I know this problem :vash: . My GReddy kit was delivered without that engine oil adapter and i could not get it over here in the Netherlands. I looked around in the rest of Europe, bt no such luck. So i finally had to order in the USA. But i keep your solution in mind the next time i need oil supply parts.
