I'm still trying to figure out why it's so hard for people to take pictures that are straight.....let alone install guages straight.
:) Setup looks good! |
LOL, gauges aren't straight b/c if i put the boost gauge in straight it pinches the line b/c of how far back it goes unless i take all the a/c duct out and i really don't wanna do that, the a/f gauge isn't straight b/c i figured it would look intentional if they both weren't if it was just the boost gauge it would look even weirder........how do you other guys with autometer boost gauges in the a/c vents do it?
thanks though for the compliment.......crossover may be coming out if the check valve i'm picking up today doesn't smooth out the idle....also could the VTA BOV be part of my stumbling problem? |
duct tape the crap out of it and see.
|
I'm not really sure but when I was running a VTA setup on my 98 GSX the lumpy idle was common due to the fuel system trying to correct itself. Another problem at one point was the VTA bov was leaking just a bit.

cover that master cylinder reservoir.
|
my boost guage is in the vent next to the door. fit fine, stealthier over there too.
