so my turbo came Fuxed from the factory sent it back and they rebuilt the entire insides, blades, shaft, bearings, seals, EVERYTHING for free and sent it back and got it all done in 2 weeks and i sent it out the week of x-mas.

i really like this article, not sure how much of it is true or not but I found it from a company that sells/rebuilds turbos in NC
It suggest just pulling the coils so the car will turnover but not spark... 4. Prime the oil system by cranking the engine over (WITHOUT STARTING IT) for 10-15 seconds, and repeat this step 3-5 times minimum. There are many ways to make sure that your car will not start, you can unplug the coil wire on vehicles with distributor-style ignition, or on vehicles with direct fire ignition, you can disconnect the coil packs, or the ignition relay. I just took out the spark plugs so that way there was no way that the turbo would turn and the oil would prime the lines. Just the way that I did it.

Way easy to pull the relay or coil plug. I stick with those methods myself.

You can pull the igniter (pax side of engine bay) for an easy way of turning over without firing.

Unplugging the CAS will allow you to crank the engine, but will not spark or spray fuel. At least this is from what I have heard and confirmed from a few compression tests I have done. It will also throw a code.

I usally start the car, pull out of the driveway and boost as hard as I can.

If you have already screwed up but don't see any problems, I wouldn't worry about it. If you have not screwed up yet, then I would make sure I lubed it! Actually, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to drip some oil in the turbo to start with. What could it hurt? |
ok so does the idea of non snyth on first few 100 miles people buy that or not?

The second you turn the key and the engine catches the turbo is going to have plenty of oil. The split-second is didn't have oil isn't going to harm anything. If anything you can pull the feed off and drip some in. |

I went right with the synthetic, dropped some in the top of the turbo, started it and let it idle with the drain line loose so I could check oil flow before tightening the clamp. |

Tits got it all back togethere and the sound is still there.... now the sound is only there from like 11vac till like 4vac inplace of 11vac till 5.5psi.... so i got it down to 3 items.... BoV bad, engine bearing, lifter shit.
