I bought studs and then cut them down.

take one of the semi-intact one's to your local Lowes or Home Depot, they should have a station that you can thread things into and get a measurement. I forgot it's been so long for me.

I used studs to connect the the turbo to the manifold, FUCK that. They came loose every 100 miles or so. The M8 studs were just too small. I even installed nord lock washers on the studs, still loose.

I bought some 10.9 bolts and some nord lock washers, that shit is NEVER coming off on it's own. To connect the manifold to the head I just used the stock hardware, I've had no problems with them so far.

If you don't know what a nord lock washer is, they are great. The pitch of the ramps is higher than that of the threads. I love em.

Got my manifold back today from the machinist. $48 for drilling out 4 studs and installing 2 helicoils :bigtu:

Went to my local Ace hardware, napa, and advance autoparts but none carried the aforementioned 10.9 hardware (8mmx1.25 pitch). Any recommendations on where I could order such items?

I found 8mmx1.25 and then i asked them what grade it was and the Ace employee told me its grade 2 (the bolt said 8.8)?

That doesn't make sense, but 8.8 is not what you want. You need class 10.9 or grade 8.

8.8 isn't good enough, that's the equivalent of grade 5.
