contact begi, the issue is that your wastegate flapper is coming in contact with the downpipe. They will send a spacer to you so that you can get full clearance of the wastegate.

Then shim the actuator from the bracket so you can lengthen the rod without losing any preload on the swingarm. This should allow more movement to open the wastegate per boost level. That is if my brain is working correctly.

good idea!

i enlarged my wastegate hole like 15% fwiw.

I like will have to contact

my waste gate rod is loosened to the point where my wg boost setting is 4psi and it creeps to about 5.5psi at redline. This helped with my boost spike when using the MBC at 10psi, but did not fix it.

One of these weekends i will get out the grinding equipment and do some porting. I hope this fixes the spike completely.

Steph: How much are those spacers? I may need to come pick one up :)

Stephanie Turner 04-05-2010 03:39 PM

There is no charge for the spacer, if you need one. I think we have your oil line stuff here too.

If you are presently or have done this lets see your results and how long it took to grind away?

I'll be trying it in a few weeks.

Stephanie - thanks for getting this online for us!
