Picasa Web Albums - Taras - Miata Project But i think i figured out the problem! i am pretty sure it was my coil. i think the plug on it is bad and was causing random misfires on all cylinders. I changed out a coil putting in my 20 year old coil and the car drives great, much smoother and i dont get the idle drop that i used to get all the time. I still get a little bit of a miss when the car is idling but its barely noticeable. I think it could be from the plugs, i switched back to stock plugs bk6s just to see if they could be a part of the problem. |
Bad fuel pump? Bad stock regulator? Bad Injector? Bad injector seal? Bad Stock O2 sensor? Any of those can cause a lean condition off of boost. You might also check your O2 sensor and engine fuses under the dash. And the fuel injector fuse under the hood.
