time for new spark plugs and wires

what are the recommended plugs and wires for a greddy'd miata? i need some new ones so i figured id ask... another thing, are these parts easy to find at a pep boys or autozone?
thanks, marlon

Get them from mazda, the blue NGK's are just fine.
Spark plug availability will depend on temp desired as some plugs are not available at all standard autoparts stores like Autozone. Walmart also carries some.
There is a current thread on plug temp and part # on m.net right now that could also be of good information on top of what you find here.

Blue ngk wires, or any 7-8mm wires.

NGK BKR7E plugs. Or if desperate Autolite 3922.

NGK BKR7E 11's - plugs
Magnecor Blue Wires

-11 signifies a 11mm or 0.4331" gap. Plain 'ol BKR7Es come pregapped at .035" which is where you want it....somewhere between .030-.035"

Im running the colder zfr7f (part # from memory - will have to double check) with extended reach gapped at .40.

My older plugs were crap and I have noticed a huge improvement with the replacements.
