TurboTony downpipe close to brake line...

I installed my greddy kit this weekend, along with a TurboTony downpipe. So far, i'm loving it, but i'm a little concerned with my brake line clearance...

Should I be worried about this? Do I just bend the line out of the way?

I would worry more about insulating the brake reservoir. I found that a short piece of flexible alum dryer exhaust line covers the reservoir and cover nicely and can be removed easily to check and change fluid. Hood holds it in place.

Mine was that close too, I bent the line out of the way slightly.

That's normal, mines the same way. As Tim said, bend it out of the way some for good measure. And as Olderguy said, make sure you at least wrap your reservoir to prevent melting- but you could wrap the hardlines as well.

I got the BEGI greddy heatshield and that helped quite a bit as well. More concerning though is how close the stock heater core line is to the downpipe. So make sure you get that out of the way somehow.

The heater line isn't as close as it looks... I cut about an inch or so off the heater hose and rotated it so it is a little farther from the downpipe, and was able to bend the hard line SLIGHTLY to get a little more angle as well... Then I wrapped it like you see in the pic above...

I also have a turbo heat shield, its just not installed yet as I've only driven the car on some shakedowns, and have been doing leak/hardware checks...

Here's a pic when I was doing test fitting last week (Yes I know the filter isn't bolted togheter)...

I'll probably move my DMV Approved (See what I did there?) heat shield to the other side of the brake reservoir to help shield the reservoir, and I also have more of the hose shielding that I can cover the reservoir with as well...

Let us know how the WBO2 location is working out for you.

I am hoping that you are seeing a 4 wire O2 mounted in the top of the DP. You are right that it is no place for a WBO2.

I have done a lot of work with turbo cars over the years... While it is not optimal to have the sensor that close to the turbo outlet (Yes i know 6-12" is optimal)... I'm not making insane power, i'm not pushing this car to its limits... That's where the bung was when I bought the downpipe and I'm okay with it. That's where most subaru downpipes put the wideband bungs...

I may add another bung further down the pipe when I do the exhaust tonight or tomorrow, but I dunno... Yes I know it kills the sensors faster as well... But luckily the PLX uses a bosch sensor so its cheaper... And its super easy to replace... So i'll grab a spare and throw it into my tool bag so I have it if the car ever dies...

I wouldn't be worried about the heat killing the sensor, I would be more worried about the sensor over heating and dieing while you are autotune and then screw up your fuel table. I have had my sensor start over heating randomly driving down the road, I had luckily turned off autotune minutes before.

I've never been a fan of autotune on any standalone... I make my maps to work as they should... Auto MAF scaling is about the only automatic tuning assistant I really like to use...

But right now i'm just on FMU so i'm not concerned lol.
