A used greddy feed line and...

So I picked up a used Greddy Kit, and did some reasearch. But I could find anything about it. the Greddy braided steel hose has a ball in the hose? or a non smooth circle object. It will not roll out nor does it seem like it "fell' in???

Thanks
P.

I'm sorry but I really don't know what you're asking. The best idea would be to replace the oil intake line, and you can find that information on this forum. I can't remember what it's listed under, but search for greddy and oil feed.

Well If I picked up the hose on one end, something rolls down to the other end... If I pick up that end it'll roll to the other side. But won't roll out of the hose... Is that normal? A hose that is built with a object inside as a restrictor maybe??

No that doesn't sound right at all. With the Greddy kit the restrictor is built into the banjo bolt that feeds the turbo.

If you do replace the line (as you should) be sure to use a restrictive line (3an seems to work based on other members experience).

I ran a 4an line with a 90deg swivel fitting into the turbo and the first run up the RPM's blew my seals to infinitum. I have yet to crack open the turbo and see if any permanent damage has been done, however, I'm hoping stepping down a size will solve my seal woes.

The one thing I question is whether the 90 deg fitting is supplying too much oil too quickly - it's pretty direct compared to the banjo. See below.http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0137_large.jpg
