Well i will be checking them out i guess they cost me 68.50 for a set of 16 .
They will be going in a 1.6 with 79mm 10.1 forge pistons on some Carillo Connecting Rods and a boundary oil pump hope to get some rpm out of it with no valve float and deck the head .040 as well |
I think you need to do some more research, there are valve springs that fit in the BP engines that are higher seat pressure and spring rate for about the same price of the ones you are looking at and have been discussed on here and other miata forums. I am personally running these. Not to spoon feed you but look up the VS855 springs

The Carillo Connecting Rods i got them cheap with pistons ;p $160.00 not my best fine but right up there
The vs588 spring i did look at them but the Coil Bind Height (in):1.120 in << i do not like Installed Height (in):1.570 in. << form this will not net me much at 1.535 Seat Pressure at Installed Height (lbs):66 lbs. Open Height (in):1.180 in. Open Pressure (lbs):175 lbs. Ford Performance Parts M-6513 m50BR
Installed Height (in):1.575 in. << going to 1.535 will bump up the 67 lbs a bit Seat Pressure at Installed Height (lbs):67 lbs. Open Pressure (lbs):157 lbs |
