painted it with heat paint that doubles as rust protection :thumbsup:

just get that shit ceramic coated. The paint won't last more than a week.

Unless of course, it's on Hustler's car, in which case it will last for decades since it will never see any temperatures over ambient :fawk:.

gotta agree, the paint probably won't last. I don't think there is anything that you can apply out of a can that will stand up to the heat.

my dp is never that hot really, its fucking like 11 degrees out side, whole exhaust line is usually warm to the touch. dp gets got, but im willing to bet, not as hot as some of the people that live down south, i duno, ive coated all my previous dp's with this stuff, and it hasnt come off yet

What brand is it and is it rated for any temperature?

dont member the brand, i threw the can away after i was done, something with ceramic coating written on the side,
and its rated for 700*, at least so it says

I used to record 780* on my dp, YMMV.
