Who is the best complete Greddy vendor?

It time to get things going on my Miata, and want to get off the right foot with the basic things to keep the car going strong and not have to worry about melting the pistons. I want all the basic stuff and will get into the IC at a later time. I was going to go with the FM1 kit, but I really just want to up the performance, not drag race (too much). ;)

No to be a dick, but you really should search for things like this. I know I have seen tons of threads on this.

i've been looking back and forth between hopup racing and MVP because those were the best prices i've found. i havent bought the kit yet but i will take a look at the prices when im ready to here in like a month or two. but i found that hopupracing ALWAYS has free shipping with their good price, im not sure if MVP has free shipping or not.

Why can't you go to greddy's website and find a local dealer, that way you don't have to pay for shipping at all?

BrokeEnthusiast 06-20-2006 02:18 PM

if philip gets his site going you could order it through him, i know he would apreciate that because then he would be up to 3 greddy kits sold

I'd go with Horsepowerfreaks.com, I've never had anything but good interactions with them. I've bought a blow off valve, ARP head studs and a Cometic head gasket from them. I bought my Greddy from istoreparts.com, I would never deal with them again.

ColoradoSpringsMiata 06-21-2006 03:19 AM

yeah i know horsepowerfreaks is pretty reputable, but the price comes out to $1,360.50 after shipping. i can get the kit for $1,269.00 at hopupracing with FREE shipping. either one is still a good deal, only thing is i dont know if hopupracing is as reputable as horsepowerfreaks (i have too many friends that have ordered from horsepowerfreaks and had great transactions). bleh...im the type to pay up for a peace of mind, maybe ill go with HPfreaks if Phillip doesnt get his site up

I, like many others have purchased thier Greddy Kit from MVP. Of course, that was when TRENT worked there. I'm not too sure he is there anymore, or if he came back to work for them. I think I paid $1100 (shipping included) for it -- 2 years back!
