They should package it with the water by-pass system. You guys are going to need it.

I never said BEGI's DP wouldnt be a good idea...and bigger is always better as they say. But again, the major restriction in the Greddy system or any turbo system for that matter is the turbine itself. My GT32 has an outlet of 2.5in. I have a 2.5in custom DP...I might have used a 3" but I couldnt fit it plus the gains really are minimal. I understand why you say larger than 2.5" will make power...because you still have exhaust volume to think about...and the larger the pipe the easier it is for the exhaust to make its way out. But still....2.75" -vs- 2.5" is not going to be night and day. I would expect 100rpm gains in spool and MAYBE 5whp mostly from the better WG merge of the BEGI DP. Im just stating my opinion...and I have nothing to back it up with either. Just using general physics and knowing that the biggest restriction is the turbine wheel and 2" outlet you can deduce that the gains from a larger DP will be very small.

Well, it's up to BRG now. If he gets his car in next week, Corky and Tim will mock it up.
It would be bitchin if BEGi throws BRG's whip on the dyno before and after. If it ~only~ gives 5 hp more than Tony's it's worth the minimal extra investment.

well even if it gives no gain I would still rather have BEGI's DP.

I have been lower, I once killed for a blade of grass. I was in the desert...and it was a mirage. So I killed for not...I am terrible.

If a 2.75" DP can fit fantastic, I just don't think it will.

Unless he builds it like mine. Where the top half is 2.5" and only 2.75" after the slip-joint.

Why don't you all be men and cut a big hole in your hoods and run a 4" dump straight up thru it.

I wish I saved a photo a customer sent me. we sold him a $100 exhaust tip. Something like 7" round, and 13" long. That would make a nice exhaust.

If these get made I WILL buy. I am so glad i didnt go with racingmazda's downpipe. (not that there is anything wrong with it.)
Woah there are now 3 different downpipe makers LOL. I will be susprised if the 2.75in fits with the stock manifold. We shall see I guess.
