Wierd fuel symptom?
 

Alrighty so over the last 6 months I have only been driving her like once every 2 weeks. Last week I took her out and about 30minutes into a normal drive my air/fuel gaudge started to lean out. After I let it sit for 10 minutes and went for another drive it did the same thing.

Any ideas why? Dirty injectors? :ugh2:

Also I am running a narrowband. I know, I know! I am putting a wideband on this weekend.

Anyone? :ugh2:

Fuel pump maby? Bad injector maby? :ugh2:

did the way the car drive change? or just some different pretty lights on the NB gauge lit up?

What are you using for fuelmanagement? The vortech is known to get stuck...

My nb gauge in my civic stopped working properly also. Take it for a drive again and then pull plugs and check them. Little white dots are pings, I'm told. Fuel pressure gauge? That is handy because it covers fuel pump, fmu, and filter. Fuel injector would just be one cylinder, thats why its good to check your spark plugs once in a while.

Fuel filter? They're pretty cheap. After you've installed a new one, run a bottle of Seafoam through the gas tank and another through the intake manifold (do a search if you don't know the intake procedure).

Instead of seafoam, you could use water in the motor and a bottle of ATF in the fuel tank. I don't know how much seafoam is, but water is free and ATF is $2.00. :bigtu:

theres the water in the motor thing again! so what do you do just stick a vac line in a bucket of water and let it suck some in?

Yes, though some advise you use a cup instead of a bucket. I use a bucket.

ATF is a kick ass detergent. You could pour a half bottle in the gas tank, too. Save the other half to pour into the oil before you do an oil change. It'll decrudify the passages in the lifters and make them quieter. :bigtu:

the atf thing I knew, I use gunk engine flush, which near as I can tell is just atf... lol but the water thing freaks me out.

Ignore the narrowband. I second checking the plugs, buy a jewelers loupe and check for small balls of metal on the plug. Those will be little bits of piston or head...
