5 Point Harness Crotch Belt Retainer?

I apologize in advance for the noob question. I searched around and couldn't find anything here or in the googles.

When using a 5-point harness, how do you keep the crotch belt from falling into the front seat hole every time you unbuckle? Is there some kind of retainer made to help with this? It looks like most seats have a smaller slot for the crotch belt(s), essentially holding it in place. On my Corbeau Forza Sport seats they have a pretty big hole that does not do this.

Have you tried putting the 5 point in your Corbeau, yet?

Yeah, on the older version of the corbeau belts I currently have the crotch belt buckle is smaller than the opening and the way it sits, it just falls through a lot of the time when unbuckled. Maybe it is an install error on my part, but I'm not seeing how it is supposed to stay on top of the seat. The exocet crotch belt mount sits almost directly below the opening so it doesn't have a lot of length.

I'm not sure if this is a common issue, but I was considering putting a cut down pool noodle on the part below the seat as a possible solution.

On my sparco 6pt's the camlock is permanently attached to the 2 sub-belts so its impossible for it to fall through. Upgrading to different belts may give you the solution you are looking for

Awesome, that makes way more sense. I plan on upgrading them anyways since they are expired, so I'll look for a cam-lock on the sub belt. Thanks!
