Brake duct hose question

Would 350f degree resistant neoprene brake ducting work or will it melt?
Here is the link Thermoid High-Temp Ducting - 350 Degree Neoprene Ducting

Should I get 600f degree brake duct? It's a lot pricier but I only want to do this once.

It will work. My IR sensor housing bolted to the brake duct shield would melt before 350*, but it's surviving.

That says it is for moving air at that temp, which suggests the hose limit is higher. You are moving cold air, that will cool the hose and its attachment. Sounds pretty safe to me, I'd give it a go.

You should expect to have to do it again. Brake duct hosing lives a hard life, it's flexing as the wheels turn, routed around lots of other stuff, etc. It doesn't last forever.

This^

I have had the higher temp stuff on my dual purpose HPDE/DD for about a year and there are little holes from rubbing in random spots. Time to replace it.
