Thanks spoolin, good info. Surely the efficiency of the whole hood lifted as opposed to the middle foot or whatever isnt great? I mean half that section, according to your tests, is sucking and half is blowing?

Ive done the tests with different cars, but your right, never with my NA.

Like others are saying, where it is on the pic of the silver car above is sufficient. This topic can be talked to death (and has been on many forums) so if you have a specific setup in mind (i.e. stock bumper cover, ducted radiator, non ducted extraction vent behind radiator) those questions could be answered relatively painlessly.
