K.A.Injection PS hose fittings?

Has anyone used these bunjo fitting to beef up the ever-braking hard power steering hose in an early NB?: https://kainjection.com/products/an6...35940232069281

Any experience or feedback on the part or the company itself? Where are they located?

TIA!

20+ years driving/tracking NBs, never had a problem with hard line on PS. Do you know why it is failing, and why this is the best solution?

If you do this, watch out for the HP side, you need prober hydraulic line for that, return side can use LP stuff.

I don't know why they fail, but they do. This is an autocross NB with 275 Hoosiers, so fairly high loads. The banjo fitting seems to have a really, rally thin line coming out of it and it seems to crack right there. So the pics show where it is actually heavily reinforced in both home-made solution and K.A.Inhjection one. There was also a fitting and hose from JoyFast that Rev9 sold for $300, but NLA. Supposedly, there is also a similar fitting on Summit, but I don't know how to find it for that weird banjo connector on NB PS pump.

BTW... if someone has a dead pump, I'd very much like to buy that banjo fitting off it to experiement.

Company is legit, they make cool parts, I've bought stuff from them before. Would not hesitate to give them more money.

I would have thought the NB (And also NA) PAS hardlines failing on track would be fairly well known. The mounts for the lines aren't stiff enough and will fatigue fail if you get enough cycles at high RPM. This looks like a nice solution and I'd have bought these if they were around 5 years ago. In the meantime I either added lots of bracing to better support the line or just changed the pump to a body mounted electric pump - EHPAS (which has a load of other benefits anyway).

I broke three on my track NB1 before I removed the hard line and replaced it with a flexible line.
That was 4 years (and ~40 events) ago and no issues since..
