Looks great man. This mod is somewhere in the top 10 of my future mods for sure.

So are you planning on bolting all the way through the scoop and hood with bolts visible from the top?

Yup. These are 3/16" rivets upside down to make sure the holes align until I get to the hardware store for some shiny SS hardware. I did one 1/8" rivet, which ended up being too short, and said hell no. Not only did I remember that they might rust, but I want this thing removable for cleaning, adjusting, and possibly painting the underside of the hood. Also, rivets get hot quickly when grinding them down.

Now, I'm off to try and stay up all night, in order to adjust back to my night schedule. Since everyone is closed, and it's too late to use power tools, I'm forced to play massive amounts of Portal 2. Damn.

These diagrams I had previously saved might help you out with placement. IIRC V8Roadsters did the pressure testing. That pressure diagram, I don't recall where I found that originally so unfortunately cannot provide appropriate credt to the source.

Anyone else know the source of the airflow measurement and cfd work attached there?

Has anyone put one of these on an NB?
