The on thing I would be nervous about is the rigidity of those CAD mounts. My mount I had made have a few cross braces on them. I can see the seat being the "brace" on these I guess... Does it mount the seat perfectly center on the wheel? I had to do a few mods to my mount and tranny tunnel to make it mount straight with keeping the humps.

This looks almost identical to my set up. Except I dremeled out a bit of the inside to be able to slide the bottom of the seat between the two cross members.

I agree with the cross brace issue. I overlooked it. I would add cross bracing, but it would be very easy to do with my minimal drill press. I'll post my quote from Wedge when I get it.

Not too sure about rigidity yet. I should be getting them in the next couple days. If no one has issues with the standard Sparco mounts, then these 'should' be ok. I'll have to go and check the thickness of my Sparco mounts. The ones I had cut are 5mm 304SS.

My current ones look like the Good-win mounts and the seat sits slightly off centre - not enough to notice. I was planning on slotting the chassis mount holes on these CAD ones to have some room for side to side adjustment.

Just got a quote from Wedge engineering. Driver and passenger mounts for a side mount buddyclub are $95 each. I think I am going to buy them. Zero work to install sounds good to me. Anyone have an expected price for the 949 racing brackets?

We had a miscommunication. That is for the bottom mount piece only, you then need the side mounts. Another $135 for the pair. So $325 total for D and P mounts. I wish I had just bought bottom mount seats. I may be waiting a while before I install these seats.

Necro bump.

The cheapest quote I have found to get these cut and a 90 degree bend is $60 per seat in 11ga mild steel. You would have to take care of the 15 degree bend for the stock seat bolt location, or you can leave them flat and mount it to the floor. You will also have to locate and drill the floor bolt location as there is some side to side room for preference.

Pretty sure you guys can get it cheaper down south, but if anyone is interested I could have them made, just pay the cost + shipping. I'm putting in an order to get enough for 6 seats made.

They are thicker than the Sparco brackets I have if anyone is concerned. And as the website says, these are all at your own risk for cake cutting only.

Post up a quote if you get one.

I've seen those good-win mounts, they're good if you are the correct height for the holes they already have drilled. They look like they'd be too close to the wheel in my car. 949Racing has posted pics of a mount they're working on, looks very good.

In the mean time, I've sent this off to a water jet to see how well they work. I'll post pics when I get them back.
