Default New composite race doors

I am not affiliated with the manufacturer of these doors (CCP Fabrication). Same guy who makes the lightweight fiberglass hardtops here in florida.
I just got some of the doors and thought I would let everyone know about them.

They weigh 5lbs each. Obviously they are race only. Super bare bones. Pretty easy to install. I had to modify the holes on the hinges a bit to allow for more adjustment, trimmed a little bit of the inner structure here and there to clear my cage, a couple adjustments to the latches and viola! PM me if you cant find the contact info for ccp fabrication.
Hes selling them for $575 a set just so you boys know

It looks good, I don't know about not having windows permanently. Especially when Florida is getting this much rain everyday

Aero wise would it not be better to have windows fitted ?
I understand the lightweight concept ( I have a lotus elise ) but without windows will the cab act as a parachute ?

NASA and SCCA require windows to be down on the track, as do most sanctioning bodies. NHRA is the exception.

NASA or SCCA don't allow Lexan / Plexiglass or similar?

so, in regards to NASA TT/PT rules of door gutting in which you can [of course, following the "rules"] only gut the door enough for the door bars...

where does this fall?

You can do whatever you want to the door if you have nascar style door bars.
