It's so far off the back burner it's not even on the stove. We want to get it going but John has been so busy drawing wheels we haven't pulled him off to work on OGK. We will definitely update when we start work on it in earnest. For now it's a very nice orange decoration on our 4-post in the shop :o

oops

1. I didn't make the fenders quite wide enough for the intended 275's on 10's. 245's barely fit.
2. We made 12's. So now daddy wants 305's.

This means bigger fenders. Much bigger fenders. After looking at all the common kits and a few more esoteric options from US and abroad, I decided on the CCP widebody kit which is a Nopro GT Spec Type-R replica kit. Wide enough for 12's. Smallish rad opening. Most kits have a ginormous rad opening. Since we stuck the rad in the back and only have the IC up front, we want the smallest rad opening possible. I'm also not a fan of overly sculpted or complicated shapes. The two front ducts are ideally placed for our 3" brake ducts. The spare rad opening area will be use to feed the OC

Same hand laid frp. We're adding in a few layers of carbon fiber and building it a bit thinner to save weight. CCP built one custom set for their own car with the skirt scoops covered over with aluminum panels. I asked if they can replicate that in a mold. We'll se if they'll be able to do that.

This is a random pic I found of the CCP kit on an NB2. Looks like maybe 17x9 wheels, not sure. Lots of room for activities.

This is a pic of CCP's own build with the same kit and the skirt scoops filled in

Should be pretty cool. I have a ccp kit that I purchased a couple years ago that I have not made time to install yet. Hopefully this winter. It will be going on my car that I posted a picture of earlier in this thread. It will end up looking very similar to OGK. It has a cage by Tony also.

It is built and runs and drives great with many of your great products. Just needs the body kit and paint.

Are you @rickarto24?

If so, we follow you. Part of what inspired me to finish OGK actually.

No I am not. I do not participate in social stuff besides here.
one day I will start a thread about my car. I do not really document progress so it would just be a list of mods.
its a very thorough build though.

I remember seeing that black CCP car online 5-10 years ago, way before I had a Miata. That LMP style shark fin blew my mind.

Love that kit. I'll be excited to see how it works for you guys.
