Oil sandwich plate: which to get?
Going turbo, I need an oil source for my turbocharger...
Which means sandwich plate. And while I'm doing it, why not a place for an oil temp sender? And an oil pressure sender? And an oil cooler?
This is primarily a street car, so I'm thinking a thermostat might be good for it, or is that not really an issue?
Anyone have a model to recommend? I've found FM's ($$$$), glowshift (unknown), and ebay (even more unknown).

DO NOT get this ebay type... reason is the filter o-ring will not make a complete seal... see pic. Not sure the difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 plates. I used it, but had to use a larger filter with an outer groove to sandwich in a larger o-ring... yeah, my filter has 2 o-rings You have a VVT in your sig, sounds 1.8 to me...

So I was thinking about this. The thermostat plate would kill flow to the turbo, which would be a /very bad thing./ So for right now I think I should get that glowshift plate, use the turbo feed line, oil temp and pressure... and then is it ok to put another plate on top of that plate for the oil cooler?
