Default Mixie5 Setup

Hi all

Here is my current setup with my planned upgrades for the winter to complete in GT class endurance racing in Europe.

Weight w/ driver: 1172kg (reducing to 1090kg over the winter - target car weight 1000kg)
Tire size and model: Toyo R888R
Wheel width: 7's
Whp: 142 (increasing to 250bhp per ton over winter)
Aero: Front Slipper, front undertray, APR GTC200 rear wing, Bonnet Vents (adding full length tray & read diffuser over the winter)
LSD type: Torsen
Cooling: Mishimoto radiator and oiler cooler, 949r cooling redirect (ordered yesterday) (adding mishimoto intercooler over the winter)
Engine: H Conrods, Balanced crank, ME221 ecu, coil on plugs, (adding high performance head and cams, Borg Warner 6758 turbo plus everything else required to run the turbo over the winter)
Transmission: 6 speed factory box
Braking: Wilwood 6 pot calipers, vented & drilled disks front, race pads on rear
Suspension: Ohlins coils and shocks, pro-black polybushes
Usage: Endurance racing on circuits

Mixie5 is pretty good presently, she drives well and corners like she is on rails. Rather under powered right now but cornering faster than everything in our class and most things in the higher classes. So, in the quest to get to 250hp per ton (at the flywheel) over the winter, what would all suggest?

Details on performance head and cams if you will.

Why:
6 piston calipers and vented / drilled rotors?
Ohlins and not Xida?
ME221 ?
6758 and no pistons?

Just wondering

Sixhooter - Head and cams is a journey I haven't started on yet. Searching through the threads to try and find some options right now.

Ryansmoneypit - The UK is a bit like Texas in the 80's. There is a strong following for tuning and modifying some cars and nothing else at all. Ohlins is mostly because I raced single seaters and had spares around. Big brakes so I can brake later into corners running a stock engine (got to find a competitive edge somewhere). ME221 is a programmable ECU that allows you to switch between 2 maps. 6758 is planned, but I am thinking possible to use a slightly smaller version. Pistons will be supertech 4032 if I can find some good rings to on them. Yet another item that I am probably going to have to ship from the states.
