Thanks to miataracer's facebook post we now have a track brake slider lube. Anybody run this yet?

were do you buy it? I haven't really had problems with my brakes at the track yet. As a matter of fact, the only problem I have is I don't use them enough, but that should be rectified by November lol. Although I admit, the slider bolt design always worries me just a tad.

How is it possible to not touch the rubber parts? Half the grease ends up on outer dust boot. :confused:

Yeah - serious ballers don't use lube - they do it dry - but i might get it for the DD

Jake I have used this Permatex stuff on the stock front and rear calipers. Judging by the pad wear, ~even on both sides, it works. They sell it in little purple hanging packs at Autozone and the like.

Has anybody used it on wheel bearings yet?

I would definitely check with Permatex before trying that. Tribology is a complex science/art and there is a significant difference between those two applications. One is practically static, the other is not. Roller bearing versus bushing, etc.

There may be (probably is) something better for bearings, like that stuff Hustler packs his with.
