Rollbar padding recommendations

Need some advise on padding from BSCI for my cage

Looking at low profile 78000 versus 48000
Anyone use this ?

I used the thinnest SFI padding in my spec miata, so the 78000 in your case

I used Allstar Performance ALL14112

the BSCI is a little cheaper price wise.... might have to look at it for future builds

I've used the SFI rated low profile padding sold by OG Racing on a few cars. I like it a lot better than the thick stuff, easier to work with and bend, more room in tight cockpits.

Use a razor blade to cut it at corners rather than bending it. Use the thickest one in areas around your head. I went thinner on the door bar for clearance but you really want as thick as you have room for.

As far as installation goes, my typical way of doing it is to use two 3' sticks and join them on center, use the cutoff pieces to trim the tops of the diagonals or rear legs (depending on the bar design), like this -
