Older pics from when I first installed it, but you get the point. MOMO Start bought off criagslist from a 6'4" SM guy that ended up having to bolt an aluminum seat to the floor. Brand new condition, not even a year old, $80.

Installed on stock sliders, which are held at a slightly different angle than stock, requiring one of the holes to be dremeled out a bit. That's about it. the wire for the slider interferes a bit with the 5/6th point, but I shouldn't be using it anyways.

On those stock sliders its a good bit shorter than the stock seat, I'll have to measure off my passenger seat sometime to get a more definite answer.

Sparco sprint 5, 2007 version IIRC. Bought from Kelly @ speedware motorsports.

Now I have a sparco circuit on a bracket that sits the seat basically on the floor.

Snowboarder,

How do you like the Sparco Circuit as far as space and seating position being near the floor? I have one, just waiting on some parts from Axis Power Racing to begin my cage build and mount the seat.

Bride Vios III LowMax (not the eBay knockoff), it was traded for turbo install labor and sits on the Bride LF-Type slider rail. It's more comfortable than the stock seat, even on long drives, but doesn't breathe as well as the stock seat, so you end up with a warm back on hot days. It's much lower than the NA stock seat even at the mid-height, the rail has 3 height settings. But beware if you have a waist larger than 32", this seat can become uncomfortable, or so some people have said.

Cobra Monacos. Used a square 1/8" SS plate on each corner and bolted the stock rails to them.

Please measure that and get back to me. If that seat is indeed shorter than the stock seat on the stock rails than I found my seat.

Not as much as I'd hope, but take from this what you will.

So where your butt sits is apparently at the same height (4" off the floor), yet putting that rod right across the crotch of my jeans resulted in a 1" difference. Not terribly accurate I know, so take from it what you want. I eyeballed level with all the pictures, and I have no carpet so at least the measurement off the floor is fairly repeatable. If I get really ballsy I'll ziptie a level to my rod and get a more accurate reading. The real difference comes from your thighs sitting 3" lower in the front. Get down here and try it out yourself.

So...many...*****...jokes...

I love it, I couldn't get a wallett or anything out of my pockets while sitting in it that's for sure.

I concur... I'm the same way when sitting in mine. Do you happen to have any pics of the mounts you used/fabricated. Just trying to get an idea on what I have ahead of me on the install. Thanks!

I'm 32-33", and I don't think it's snug. Can't reach in and grab a wallet or keys, but it's not a glove.

I have found if you are over a 32" waist, you will not like the Sparco Circuit and will probably not fit in it. I have a 32" waist and barely get into it, fit is nice and snug like I want though. So be fore-warned about this fact...

Here is the seat with harness sitting on top of my beer fridge currently... Ignore the big pile of crap to the left of the photo. Got it off a SPEC Miata racer who raced with it for one weekend and wanted something more roomy, for $575. I already had the harness and beer fridge.

I tried these lazy boys but they were too big - in every direction.

As soon as I get a stripped bolt out I'm putting in a ultra shield spec miata seat. Then I'm making a harness bar to go where I removed the seatbelt tower brace. I'll post my pics then.

I won't be near the car for another month, but I'd say ~1" lower than stock. I'm 5'10" and my head is pretty much right at the top of the seatback. Rollbar is a Boss Frog Clearview Maxx for reference.
