Squaretop and damper

Does anyone know what part number this damper on the SQ Top is

also does anyone know if the throttle cable is ok to use without the bracket at the back of the manifold ?

No idea on the p/n for the damper. I do not have that bracket and have had no throttle issues with my squaretop.

That's not a damper. It's a steel support bracket

why did they make one ? Vibration or was the squaretop snapping at the neck? I guess the question is do I make alum brackets or skip and use without it for track
