Contact singular Motorsports for a pre-packaged solution. The wing installation on my car is custom-built by TC design and includes quick-release mounts. Not something that we will be offering of course. You would have to contact to see if you want something similar made for your car. We will have more pictures and details of that in a few months.

Mmmm Pre-packaged you say? History shows i have issues with that idea.. Unfortunately.

I'll look forward to your solution as inspiration for my own. Lets get creative!

You are over thinking it and we won't share detailed instructions/pics on our mounts anyway. Do yourself a favor and contact the guys at Singular. I would not recommend any vendor unless I feel they deserve your business.

Its a shame its not for sale on their website. I was going to call them too but there isnt a phone number listed.

Emailing..

They got my business on their brake ducts. I couldn't fab a set at the same quality in less time to make it worth a DIY project. Great solution.

Andrew got his S1 running first. Not finished or fully dialed in yet but it's faster than expected, right out of the box. 1:46.0 at Sonoma on 225/45 RC1-s at only 200whp. Easily 2 more sec with 245's, the other 20whp and some more fine tuning of setup. Pretty cool.

APR Performance GT-250 and GT-1000 are identical with the exception of the secondary element of course, so all GT-250 mounting solutions will carry over directly to the GT-1000 as well.
Now, whether the guys @ Singular did any amount of stress analysis to see if the mounts will take the extra downforce produced by the GT-1000 is a different story, but I'm sure they'll be able to answer that question.

So a true s1 could crush the TT3 record there(1:45.9)......on rc1s? That's great.

As he ran it, legal for ST4. We did give some thought to being able to crossover to ST/TT. So far though, the config is exceeding expectations.

I know it is a slim chance, but since you guys definitely aren't going for outright power, has trying BW's new 5951 come up? They say it flows 95% of a 6258, but has 35% less less inertia and is 35mm shorter.

You kidding? Andrew and I both just about blew a fuse when we saw it. It's probably a year away from production though. I'd expect Andrew will be testing one as soon as he can get his mitts on one. Too bad it arrives to late to be spec for S1.
That said, when I have the QBE60G in for WRL and SLB, we could pretty easily bolt a 6758 up for an easy 420whp

Yup, it will be in goof ball time attack mode for MRLS. Should be right scary for passengers. 2G in T4 anyone?

Has the date for MRLS 2017 been set yet? I have been wanting to go since 2014, but the dates never line up for me...

Such a great bang for the buck setup! This concept is what originally drew me over to the platform.

Best of luck with the series guys! I hope it continues to grow. Clearly NASA sees the threat. Please consider a SU class to wrap in those of us that went off the deep end over the years. It would be great to come out and play with a field full of hot rod Miatas!

I think the key factor in the speed here is the accessibility of the power with the EFR. On race gas or corn with a 3" exhaust and good tune, there is virtually no lag at anything above about 3500rpm. Add TPS based boost control for nearly N/A like driveability and you have the same type of instant on and useful power a C5/C6 makes. That on top of the agility of the NA/NB platform and you have a true giant killer. Lower powered Miatas tend to go slower when you add really big tires due to the extra rolling drag, aero drag and scrub when cornering. Add enough power to cancel out that drag and you can enjoy C6 like contact patch to weight ratios like an autocrosser.

Supermiata will remain two classes S1 and S2. S3 is a feeder class of unmodified 1.6 SM's on 205 RC-1's but most drivers will move up to S2 after a few races. NASA and SCCA already have a home for cost no object builds. Supermiata is all about cost containment so an unlimited class would be the very antithesis of that edict. Never gonna happen. You could always build another car or convert

If you'll permit me a slight derail, the last scuttlebutt I saw about S3 was that it was only a proposed class at this point. Has this changed?

The latest TSE/EFR turbo offering has been pulling me back to the dark side.

The business man in me understands your approach to the series. The enthusiast in me would love to see the other the top builds on track together.

I am not ready to dive into another build just yet. Not saying it's off the table though.
