Suspension setup question...

Did a track day today in the wet. The car felt pretty good but felt as if the rear rotated a bit too easily on tight corners. Do Miatas generally feel looser in wet conditions or should I look to tweak my setup somehow. I'm running the RB hollow front bar and Eibach 15mm rear with 550 front springs and 325 rear. -1.5 camber front and rear, Zero toe front and rear.

You have less traction in the wet, thus, rwd mazda seems touchier. In an autox setting, that would be an oversteer-y setup. Track, from my limited understanding, offers fewer opportunities for wild oversteer, comparatively.

I'd but the stock rear bar back on.

The car has a VLSD if that makes a difference. Tires are Star Specs.

Generally a wet set-up is no good in the dry, and vice-versa. If you have adjustable shocks, you should set them to full soft for the wet.

If you don't have adjustable shocks the next best thing to do would be to disconnect the rear sway bar. Next time you're doing a track day and it starts raining, just pull off one of the rear endlinks, and see how you like that.

That's a good idea. I have a quick release tractor pin on the rear swaybar so that would be a quick change.

what suspension is this on?
My current FM1 set up on setting 2 front/back is amazing in the rain. It will break loose only if I want it to, meaning I have to deliberately get it to spin. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have SD Bilsteins and 550/325 springs. I have a SD Bilsteins and 550/350 with 22/12 swaybars on my 90 1.6 and it felt more planted in the rear. I am running a bit more rear camber on that car and it has an open rear end and less power. The torque difference between the 1.6 and 99 1.8 is pretty noticable.
