Racing harness question!
Since I haven't spent enough money on a car that hasn't run this year, I figure that now's a fantastic time to get some safety gear. I'm getting a Profi II for the driver side and a G-Force 6-point camlock for the passenger side.
For the eyebolt hardware, G-Force has the 20mm and 50mm bolts. I take it that the 50mm are for the lap belts, and that the 20mm goes into the backing plates for the 2 sub belts?
Thanks.

It really all depends on what you're trying to go through. 20mm are typically fine if you find yourself bolting to a 3/16" bracket or tab. If you have to go through a floor plate with carpet and padding and an uneven floor pan or anything similar, you have the 50mm option.
I usually order the 50's for anything dealing with stock bodies/no dedicated mounting tabs and cut them down as needed. I also order the quick release/spring loaded buckles for the crotch straps as well to replace the stock piece on the belt and snap onto the eye bolt.
