Gents,

I trailer my car to the track now and have been removing things I don't really need like the cruise control, carpet, etc.

I use the Racing Beat intake shroud. Intake air is sucked in from underneath the driver's headlight. Would there be any issues if I remove the inner fenderwell liners? Any possible issues with, for example, a track session in the rain?

and make sure your wires are secured or the tires will eat them


i will most likely be putting my liners back on...i cna't stand the noise.

Besides hearings the pebbles and muck in the hinges as you open and close the door they can go. However, I kept half of them in to avoid this.

I've got a number of "reverse dents" from rocks being flung into the underside of my fenders. That's been the only downside for me. Don't notice the noise while racing, would be annoying if driven on the street though.

I have had no problems BUT the reverse dinks in my guards (which is really annoying when your paint etc is good). I resolved it by hand painting a thin layer of cheap bed liner on the insides of the top of the guards. Works well.

Bed liner is a good thought! Removed mine for rubbing issues and that sounds like a great solution
