Default I thought my shifter was a shitty short throw

but I started thinking it might have been a modified oem, perhaps chopped. do people do this?

I installed a raised 1/2 inch momo king ****, heavy, and it works perfect. one of the best shifting cars ever. so tight and perfect weight. some of this is preference but a short throw, light **** was not right at all. now it feels great. one less thing I gotta buy.

Yes, I have seen a thread or two about moving the lower ball up, but I can't find them at this time.
