I'm sure they are good, but they are 50% more than the current proven option.

I actually saw those right before I ordered my XIDAs, but decided against it. I'm not interested in testing.

I'm the type that likes to bolt-on a known quantity and drive.

Regarding running a 90-93 as a 94-97 during a dyno reclass so you can take advantage of the 1.8 brakes, he has this to say:

For the past year and a half, we have avoided this for the Miata. There are some questions about what parts and assemblies would have to be upgraded, and what could be protested.
We have done this for a few other car models in the past that are more clear as to exactly what parts need to be upgraded to avoid other points, etc. We had a Miata competitor ask about
this in March of '12 as well, and he decided not to be the "protest bait". I don't believe that we have sent any out since then, and we have classed a bunch of 90-93's with motor swaps.

So, at this point, I would prefer not to, and let any (if any) that may still be out there cycle out with their next re-class.

So my goal will be to get the car as light as possible. This will mean I won't have to go as aggressive with the engine build/tune, and should make life easier on the 205 R6s.

Thanks for the information. I need to actually weight my car to see where I'm at. Last I recall my '95 was around 2150 w/ the turbo and no hardtop. Maybe I'll run TTD until I can take the plunge and go with a full cage/stripped interior.

So, 205 SM6........8" or 9" wheel?

I'll run the 225 NT-01 ones for HPDE on 9", take the current 8" Konigs and put EHP tires on them as wets........but not sure which way to go for the purple crack.
