turbo reliability on track

The list is a collection of all known FI Miata issues. it doesn't mean you need all the mods listed. The list doesn't distinguish between:
150whp turbo or 400whp turbo
20 minutes HPDE or 3 hours race
driver who is 10 seconds above or a driver who is 10 seconds below SM record.
obviously if you are running 150whp turbo in 20 minutes HPDE going 10 seconds slower than SM record, I am sure you do not need ANY of the stuff on the list. On the other hand, if you are Savington in his 350whp, you will need everything on that list to survive a 3 hours enduro race.

I would like to get my turbo to that level, but, That is more money than I make currently. I would like to have a better car and a mean *** turbo on the track, I guess I will have to settle with teh slow. Although, neither of my cars are together yet.

Electric fluid transfer pumps from MOCAL. Self priming and flow a good amount.
I have mine pulling oil from the bottom of the pan, pumping through an oil cooler, and back into the top of the pan. Works like a charm.
You can do the exact same thing with your transmission or differential really.

The breather and oiling system isn’t covered by the list and I think seems to be a problem for boosted track cars especially in the 300+ hp range. The stock system sucks and most of what people have been trying don’t seem to work well either. I got a setup that seems to be working OK now but I think the way to go would be dry sump.

Would that explain why I have issues trying to get off and on the throttle smoothly? I've been trying to get rid of this lurching problem when i get off and on the throttle. I try to get on the throttle as gently and smoothly as i possible. It's not like the car is rocking back and forth like crazy, but it still jerks, which is something I really don't need mid-corner. lol.

Not saying that is your problem, but the 1100cc EV-14 injectors I had idled better than freshly cleaned (Witch Hunter) 550cc RX7 injectors, even on pump gas. They are the shizzle, and priced accordingly. DVCN ended up with mine when I parted out my turbo car (sniff) and he is really happy with them; he is running E85 in a turbo Miata.
For the track responsiveness may not matter as much since the injectors are at a high duty cycle anyway. But then again the spray pattern and droplet size is still important, and IIRC the EV-14 spray pattern is a lot better than the RX7 injectors. I am sure someone **cough**Emilio**cough** will be along shortly to clarify.
