What to use to stop Stage8 Fastener vibration?

As the title says, what bonding agent or technique are people using to stop stage 8 tabs from vibrating ?

Thanks,
Dann

So there isnt a practical or non physical way to get them to stop making noise that you know of?? I was thinking a spring washer or something?

Do you suggest I tighten the nuts not to what is right but to the angle where the tab is hard against the turbo?

Blob of Resbond on it or something?

Why the hell did I get neg prop'd for that?

Drill the tabs and safety wire them so they're loaded up tight and cant vibrate?

Tiny tack weld.

Mine stopped vibrating overtime. As the "tear drop" rotates slightly, it will butt up against the turbo and press up into the e-clip.

Doesnt that defeat the purpose? You'd have to cut the tack to unbolt it, might as well save a boat load of money and use normal nuts tack welded to the turbo.

Smack it in an appropriate location with a hammer and center punch.

Now your gettin' it! I don't know how often you guys take your turbo's on and off, but mine was on for 2 yrs. of hard track days without having to touch it. When i finally did, it was because i was making a new crazy side exit downpipe. It was soooo easy to remove too.

YEah it was pretty annoying hearing them rattle in 100dB racecar... come on, place the tab against something if it irritates you this much, geezz

Its one of the quickest cars in the country (Not the US) that happens to have number plates.

It was driven wings and slicks for a few tanks of fuel this week on the street.

Its nice when everything is perfect and the car has no rattles and everything works sometimes.

I'd rather have RATTLES and everything working ALL THE TIME.

If the studs don't break, and the nuts hold the turbo tightly without loosing up, then the STAGE 8s ARE WORKING PERFECTLY!

......Especially when paired with TRACKSPEED inconel studs!:friday:
