I discovered the value of predictive lap timing last Thursday during a test day. Watching the lap times click off was great but when I switched the AIM screen to PLT I managed to find missing time in the corners where I needed it the most. Great tool for driver development.

We've used a TraqMate for about five years now. Its predictive lap is very powerfull, but I most like running multiple cars on the screen around the track and see the ebb and flow of different driving styles.
Me and a teammate had almost identical times at Rockingham, NC. Looking at the data, he had a better line coming off the back straight to the infield. I had a better line through the fishhook. Bottom line, we both went faster! |
