Yes, like the cats above said, the ST intake valves can be junk. Theyíre known to stretch/elongate and either drop seat pressure or in your case, reach negative lash and stick open.

Those should be easily achievable targets on fairly aggressively lowered Miata, provided nothing is bent. Are you using a camber gauge when you move the eccentrics around? How are you measuring toe?

I'm guessing the aforementioned cams will be part of that equation. Cams and aggressive head skim for compression bump would probably get it there, along with perhaps a bigger throttle body.

The flywheel is probably fine, aside from perhaps needing a resurfacing and balancing.

I'd almost bet the torsion springs in the clutch disc have gotten some play in them and can shake/vibrate....
