I'll throw in my 2 cents in favor of the NC since there isn't a lot of love for them on MT. I've had 2 NA's, one of them that was supercharged and then turboed, coilovers, rollbar etc. etc. Moved...

Here's the one I ran back in the day. There is one reason I ran this setup with a turbo: it was cheap. I...

I've still got a water/air setup in the garage from my mp45 and later turbo. It fits between the blower and throttle body to prevent the issues that front mounts have with superchargers. Let me...

I vote for the tee off of the pressure sensor, however not the way you're thinking. Mounting those T fittings, especially brass ones, makes them prone to failure and then you end up dumping oil...

Just for the spread of good information, this isn't quite correct. The turbo mani most certainly does contain pressure. Without pressure in the mani, the turbo could not create pressure of its own....

Yeah, don't build the mani to fit a downpipe. Another way to look at it: if you have the skills to build a manifold, you can certainly build a downpipe. Especially if you are going with sub 3"...

The 110 option on the Eastwood is nice, but mostly useless. It has absolutely zero penetration power on 110. I've tried to use it half a dozen times and all I've been able to do successfully is...

Second this opinion. Had mine for about 2 years too. It's built an intercooler, turbo mani, exhaust, and tons of other random crap. The only problem I've had is that the argon hose around the main...

What I was saying is that the NC is more fun to drive. The NC is substantially torquey-er than the NA I had. And it just feels quicker than an AP2 in normal driving. I wouldn't say its any easier...

Yes, this is all doable. As for affordable, the delta force tuner is $700. I don't know how it compares to ecutek. Obviously, open source would be great, but I wouldn't say it is going to break the...

I'm loving my NC. A few things I've learned second hand. First, a built 2.5 with cams and all the supporting mods gets close to 300whp without the turbo. NC light has 270 whp, and dynotronics is...

Both intake manifolds are from NA 1.8 motors, don't know what year exactly. One has erg block off plates and some of the extraneous ports welded shut. Both have the brace mount thing chopped off.
