I have tested the IGN1A's from 1ms to 9ms. Up to 9ms, more dwell = more spark energy delivered to sparkplug. It climbs pretty linear up to 6, then tapers some but still is gaining energy up to 9ms. ...

In simple terms, power is directly proportional to average cylinder pressure. More boost means more power, and higher average cylinder pressure. Double the power, you have doubled the average...

Nope. I can go run 20 PSI boost on my car now with a soft tune and make say, 350tq. Then drop the boost to 17 PSI, and adjust the tune to be more aggressive and hit the same 350tq. Same torque, same...

No, torque doesn't bend rods, cylinder pressure bends rods. You could probably bend rods on a stock motor if the tune was bad enough and detonated enough to raise cylinder pressures too high and...

If you wanted to maximize main bearing wear, you could run the lightest counterweighted crank possible, with heavier-than-stock beefy rods and heavy forged pistons. That would be worst case.

If...

It's a balance of force. You want to minimize the maximum force on that area of the crank. So find the CG of the two counterweights, and calculate the force that puts on the crank. Then calc the CG...

Spinning weight alone doesn't load the bearings, well, nothing more than gravity. The rod/pistons slinging back/forth puts thousands of pounds of force pulling on the crank throws up/down as it...
