That accordion pipe looks like the standard BRP supplied hose.

Pull the main relay and check for continuity...

Pull the main relay and check for continuity across the switch pins. There should be none - if there is - relay sucked. If there is not - likely ign switch sucked.

Note that the speedometer/tripmeter/odometer computer is in the cluster and it feeds the ecu. If you messed up the blue circuit with your skills then yes, your MS3 will be similarly afflicted.

The tensioner does not look like one from BRP - IIRC they were smaller diameter and had two idlers. Later BRP ones had autotensioners.
