Turbo downpipe
So I have this small turbo I want to drop on my Miata it came with the headers supposbaly from another Miata , but I have no idea what type of downpipe it needs can anyone help or will I have to get a custom one
doesnt look like a standard flange.
this piece is bolted to the turbo, unbolt it and see if the turbo has a standard T25 DP flange. also take a picture of the manifold that you have and the flange on the manifold and turbo.

Thats not a T25. looks like some weird OEM turbo from another vehicle.
at a minimum you will need a custom manifold and downpipe to mate with this turbo, will be easier and cheaper to junk this and just get a standard T25 turbo and then you have a whole lot of different pre made manifolds and downpipes to choose from.

Okay first of all like I said this turbo came from a Miata that was turbo it has its own manifold for it and everything the only question I asked was what kind of flange I need I don't mind getting a custom downpipe
If you REALLY want to use that turbo you need to replace the outlet adapter or find someone who will build a downpipe to match it. But you knew that already. I've never seen one like it and wouldn't waste time trying to match it.
So where is the downpipe that matches this custom manifold and turbo?
if you didnt get it, then your only choice is find a fabricator to custom make you the downpipe.

If you posted some measurements I could help you identify it. That would require you taking it apart, though.
It honestly looks like a t3 40-50 trim from a turbo-diesel. If so, all you might need is a china v-band wastegate adapter. Dunno, though. Doesn't look like a t3 inlet flange to me, doesn't mean it's not still a pretty standard t3.
