So it starts... I, unbelievably and stupidly, took the Kamikaze track car - yes, my avatar - beyond repair for w2w competition. At most it would've been a TT car... but I stole a lot of go-fast parts for the Eliminator (speaking of, is almost completed )
So alot of the remaining parts that I haven't used on Elim CAN be used in S1... namely 6spd, 3.9Torsen, 99 head, cams, forged 10.5:1 block, AutoK widebody fenders, custom foil uprights, TSE Mega brake kit... lots of good stuff. So instead of letting you vultures grab parts, I figured I'd use them
I've got the TSE Spec EFR kit already on order... just need some good Xidas, a foil and some Maxxis and I'll be ready to roll... key word "just"...
It begins with a new straight chassis: a '90 begging to be stripped (5/22/90 build date). Dupped The Bastard...

 

Cool! Hopefully WRL opens up S1 for 2019 for around here. In the mean time, S1 builds fit pretty well into ST4/TT4. NASA event at Barber the weekend before MATG, July 28/29. I'll be there!

 

YES!! I'm really hoping the series takes off with WRL... hence the build! And you're right - the car can run in ST4 easily to get my w2w fix... I know Lemons isn't real w2w, but man it was fun, and I've been hoping to w2w for some time. I'll admit, I'll be an easy pushover at first, but give me a little time and I'll be a thorn in someone's side
I'll probably be at BMP in July running the Eliminator!

^^^ lmao... very very very true... sadly. I did join a group to help... it's called HOMOS - Help Overcome Miata Owner's Sins... BUT the Elim is currently getting awesome harness fab'd and should start up and run before the weekend - but there's more mechanical stuff I need to do before it hits the track. Then I'll be forgiven and born again.
