on the plus side, this is the first time i've been tagged in a related threads debacle for a while. We continue to work on our training models to improve the relevance. We're also looking at adding a date filter so as to not surface dead stuff anymore.

That's because we gave up. This isn't the first time in awhile that it's actually happened. It still happens. A lot. Tagging you doesn't seem to fix it, so why would we continue?

I agree that fixes seem to take far longer than one might think they should take, I do know the algorithms are being tweaked pretty regularly. There has been more focus on improving the site load speeds recently though.
